Renewal of tenancy agreement

Are you continuing your studies next year, and would like to keep your housing? Then you have to apply for renewal!

At the beginning of March you can apply for renewal of your tenancy agreement. You will receive a message at hybel.no with an application form.

The application must be sent by 1st April 2025. If your application is approved you will receive a tenancy agreement that you have to sign to complete the renewal.

If you want to change housing, you can also apply for that in the form.

Don’t forget that there are new prices from 16th June (the start date of the renewed agreement). An overview of the prices for the different type of housing is available at hybel.no.

When you apply for renewal of the tenancy agreement you also confirm that you will be continuing your studies also next school year. We can ask for documentation such as a copy of your StudentID or proof of paid student fee.

ℹ️ Keep in mind that if you choose to not renew your agreement, to then reapply in the fall, you will be placed at the end of the waiting list for housing.
