Do you need someone to air your thoughts with?
Everyone experiences difficult periods in life, and it can be good to talk to someone. Social themes or challenges that affect student life can be difficulties with studies, study habits, anxiety, stress, sleep and social relationships.
Here are a few tips for those that wish to prepare for the session;
- Reflect on the challenges/concerns you are facing
- Make a list of the most important points you wish to talk about
- Be honest about your challenges and concerns
- Be open to receiving advice and suggestions
Frequently asked questions about the counselling session
Click the “Book appointment” button on this page. You will be able to choose between an in-person and a digital appointment. After selecting the type of appointment you want, available time slots will appear, and you can choose the one that suits you.
If you want to book an appointment with a specific counsellor, select the person in the “choose staff” column. This overview will show which times the counsellor is available for booking.
Confirmation of the booked appointment will be sent to you by email.
If you have booked an in-person appointment, please go to Building B, 3rd floor, room B-303.
The door is marked “Counselling Service.” If you have booked a digital appointment, you will receive an email with a Teams link.
Yes. All counsellors are bound by confidentiality.
You can cancel the appointment at the same place you booked it.
There is no waiting time for a session.
We offer physical sessions at Molde University College, room B-303. We also offer digital video chat sessions.
No, you do not need a referral.
Yes, you can book a digital session. Select the “videosamtale” option when booking an appointment.
You can book an appointment with a psychologist digitally here. NB: You need to get approved from us before doing so.
