Our Meeting Places

Mellomrommet, Mellomgulvet, Plantatio and the canteen!

Mellomrommet

“Mellomrommet” is a drug-free meeting place between the D and E block at Molde Campus. You can come here for a cup of coffee, meet fellow students, watch TV, play games – or something completely different! The idea is that it can be a meeting place, a place to be.

Activities and Opening Hours

Mellomrommet is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. Additionally, on Thursdays and Sundays, it is open in the evenings and staffed by our student employees. Every Thursday, we prepare food, and if you wish to join for a meal, you need to sign up in advance. You can do this through our calendar. In addition to this, we also organize game nights, hobby activities, or other fun events that you can simply drop by for.

Want to borrow Mellomrommet?

If the association or committee you are part of wants to use The In-Between Space outside of regular opening hours, you can contact us via email here. Mellomrommet is a great venue to use for social activities as well as for organizing various workshops and courses.

Here you can find the guidelines for borrowing Mellomrommet.

Mellomgulvet

“Mellomgulvet” is the outdoor area that you can find as an extension of Mellomrommet. You can access it by walking down on the east side of the E-block or through Mellomrommet. In the courtyard, you will find a separate lounge area under cover and the opportunity to have lunch outside in the sun. You can also grill in good company with herbs from our own edible plants on the premises. Many exciting events are planned throughout the academic year, so keep an eye on the calendar.

Plantatio

Plantatio is a space for plants, vegetables, and herbs, located in the basement of the E block. If you already have a green thumb or are interested in learning more about taking cuttings or growing different plants, this is the place to visit. Plantatio is staffed by a student employee, and various events are also held here. Some examples of past events include making your own pot, carving pumpkins for Halloween, or making your own Christmas wreath.

The canteen

The cafeteria is open for all students every day throughout the week. Here, you can enjoy a good lunch, study for exams, or have a nice cup of coffee in a social setting. It is also possible to arrange presentations or lectures here, and you can make use of projectors, microphones, and sound systems.
